MITEC Medical is proud to announce the successful completion of the first FARAPULSE™ Pulsed Field Ablation procedure in the Cayman Islands, performed on July 28, 2026 by Dr. Ravi Kishore and the clinical team at Health City Cayman Islands
FARAPULSE™ is an innovative cardiac ablation system from Boston Scientific designed for treating of atrial fibrillation, one of the most common heart rhythm disorders. Unlike traditional thermal ablation technologies, Pulsed Field Ablation uses rapid electrical pulses to selectively target the cardiac tissue responsible for abnormal rhythms while minimizing the impact on surrounding structures.
This achievement represents an important advancement in access to innovative electrophysiology technologies and reinforces our commitment to supporting healthcare professionals throughout the Caribbean.
